Asking such a question, we can assume his preference and perspective from his responce. Because a certain factor of movies kicked his memories and experiences, we can tauch into a part of his quolia. I don't know anything without movies which tell us what kind of people he is.
How many movies which encourage ourselves and show us something never forget can we see ?
It may be very few.
However, by the movies coloring our lives nicely, the more the number is, the wealthier our lives would be.
Not teezing you, I definitely believe so.
Eventually, this movie has become the one for me.
It is a just old man living in a rural town, New Zealand, who plays a main character. As written down on its poster,
"He doesn't have youngness and money.
He has only a motercycle,
and a dream betting his life."
While there were many difficulities,a trip to the United States from New Zealand in 1960's, the age 62 years old, the body with the impending danger of heart attack, his emotion and efforts aiming at his precious dream affects the people sorrounding him gradually.
A boy who is the only believing his dream at which a townsman laughs,
a rival who share strugles and pain, and run toward the same goal,
a gay who was treated as a woman for the first time,
and many others who help him without requiring any compensation transform his dream and emotion into big wings.
One time, One life.
What a beautiful life !
In addition to that not only the quality of its story as a non-fiction but as a movie is so high.
Especially needed to write is Anthony Hopkins.
Anthough someone said he is born to play Hannibal Lector, it became Burt Manllow for me, awarding Burt Manllow's feat.
After it taking 30 years, I would like to see this movie again.
At that time, it must give me much more impression.
I strogly hope that my life would be as wealty as Burt Manllow's then.
